Super Saturday is officially moving to a weekly format.
When I first conceived Super Saturday, it was meant as a way to give something back to the creators who submit tracks to Fresh Friday. A follow-up show. A chance to spotlight people again, recap, and keep things moving instead of everything vanishing once Friday night was over.
Over time, though, it naturally grew into something bigger.
So rather than fighting that, I’ve decided to lean into it.
The Format Moving Forward
Super Saturday will now run every week, with a rotating structure that keeps things fresh but still familiar.
At its core, it will always include the Fresh Friday Countdown – giving tracks another moment in the spotlight and letting them breathe beyond a single premiere night.
On top of that, the show will alternate and expand:
- Every second week will feature a Wheel Show, where randomness, chaos, and audience interaction play a bigger role.
- Alongside that, there’ll be an additional countdown based on actual stats I’m collecting from YouTube — not vibes, not popularity contests, just real engagement and data.
The idea is to balance:
- Community involvement
- Genuine feedback and momentum
- And a bit of unpredictability so it doesn’t turn into the same show every week
Even though Super Saturday has grown into its own thing, the original intent hasn’t changed.
This show still exists to support creators who are actually putting work in. If your track stood out on Fresh Friday, chances are it’ll find its way into Super Saturday in one form or another.
No pay-to-play.
No favour trading.
No pretending everyone’s equal when they’re clearly not.
If I like the track, it gets played. Simple.
New Super Saturday Site
Along with the weekly format, there’s now a dedicated Super Saturday site.
This gives the show its own home – a place for updates, countdowns, show info, and whatever else grows out of it over time. It also lets the show stand on its own without being buried inside everything else I’m building.
More details will evolve as the site does. Like everything else around here, it’s a work in progress.

Looking Ahead
Super Saturday isn’t trying to be a massive polished production. It’s not chasing trends or algorithms. It’s just a consistent, evolving weekly show built around creators, community, and music that actually deserves to be heard more than once.
If you’re part of it, thanks for sticking around.
If you’re new, welcome.
Let’s see where it goes.
