AI music cops a lot of hate online. Every time someone mentions it, the comments fill up with:
- “It’s just pressing buttons.”
- “There’s no real creativity in it.”
- “Machines can’t make music, only people can.”
And honestly, I get it. From the outside, it looks like you type in a prompt, hit generate, and out pops a song. No sweat, no struggle, no story. But that’s not the whole picture.
I was skeptical too, till i started playing with it in my workflow, now i wouldn’t be without it.
The truth is, AI is just another tool. It’s not replacing instruments, songwriting, or creativity, it’s expanding them. The skill isn’t in “pressing buttons.” The skill is in knowing what to feed the machine, how to shape it, and how to bring your own touch to the final sound.
That’s why I made this video. Instead of typing in random prompts, I used real instruments as the input for SUNO. Every note, every strum, every imperfect sound was captured and transformed. The AI didn’t just invent music from nowhere.
AI music doesn’t have to be “fake” or “lazy.” It can be another way for musicians and creators to experiment, to take raw sounds and twist them into something new.
So the next time you hear someone say “AI music is just pressing buttons,” send them this. Let them see that there’s more going on under the hood, and that creativity still matters.
