Its based on a true story. Not my story, a friend of mine. The stories ive learned from him growing up. And he is a very happy well adjusted man. And then I see people online cry because somebody said something “offensive”. That inspired this song. “How can he be so happy after witnessing so much yet others who have a great life are so sad?”
